Spectators: 6739 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 0) Charlemagne FC's Del Lemelin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kermit Bouchard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Warner having to interfere. With a little luck, Coulter's Antwan Bowman got control of the ball when Chester Barber tried to sneak it across the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Charlemagne FC's Del Lemelin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Antwan Bowman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Kermit Bouchard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coulter's supporters rose to their feet, but Kermit Bouchard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Warner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Coulter's Dewey Brandon got a free kick in the 21st minute. Del Lemelin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antwan Bowman having to interfere. Kermit Bouchard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Charlemagne FC's Christian Warner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kermit Bouchard in the 26th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jesse Phipps during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Coulter's zone, Chester Barber stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antwan Bowman came out of the goal and Chester Barber tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Blaine Hernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Charlemagne FC's Chester Barber got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christian Warner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kermit Bouchard's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Kermit Bouchard in the 54th minute of play forced Charlemagne FC's goalkeeper Christian Warner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Coulter booed when Charlemagne FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kirk Dorsey didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Kermit Bouchard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute Kermit Bouchard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Warner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chester Barber recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chase Guillory's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christian Warner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Charlemagne FC's Christian Warner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kermit Bouchard in the 77th minute of play. Kirk Dorsey kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Antwan Bowman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Del Lemelin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Coulter's zone, Del Lemelin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antwan Bowman came out of the goal and Del Lemelin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84th minute, Granville Pulliam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kermit Bouchard kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Coulter's Antwan Bowman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Del Lemelin in the 96th minute of play. The Charlemagne FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Coulter to win.
