Spectators: 6720 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dewayne Bowles took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience was convinced that Hollis Lécuyer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kris McCormick was relentless in the 2nd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lothaire Pepper in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clark Caballero saved Bolsdale from getting behind. After having played for 10 minutes, Cory Querry managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Troy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cory Querry was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Troy's goal looked a bit too open when Hollis Lécuyer came free, but Kris McCormick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lothaire Pepper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clark Caballero having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Willian Richardson during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Willian Richardson kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Hollis Lécuyer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kris McCormick read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. If Lothaire Pepper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dewayne Bowles in the 34th minute of play forced Bolsdale's goalkeeper Clark Caballero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lothaire Pepper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clark Caballero having to interfere. Kory Rosa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kris McCormick read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. After having played for 46 minutes, Dewayne Bowles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Troy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dewayne Bowles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Lothaire Pepper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Troy's Kris McCormick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kory Rosa in the 56th minute of play. With a little luck, Bolsdale's Clark Caballero got control of the ball when Lothaire Pepper tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Dewayne Bowles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute, Lothaire Pepper reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Clark Caballero. The goal made the score 0-2. Hollis Lécuyer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 73 minutes, Nick Crain mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bolsdale and the Troy players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Bolsdale getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Nick Crain hit a great ball. 86 minutes into the match, Troy's goal looked a bit too open when Kory Rosa came free, but Kris McCormick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Troy played a much better game than Bolsdale and deserved their victory. The Bolsdale players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
