A hard shot by Carl Sears from long distance, 25 minutes into the match, got Géraud Michel's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After some careless play in the Castor AFC defense, Lucien Charette kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Louis Bingham. The Castor AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Louis Bingham should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rosendo Jarrell in the 34th minute of play forced Ralston's goalkeeper Géraud Michel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mason Pratt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Louis Bingham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mason Pratt in the 40th minute of the match. Carl Sears hit a great ball. Fiacre Dow was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 47th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucien Charette was the one to do the kick off. Louis Bingham came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ralston's Mason Pratt. But to his dismay, Mason Pratt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Mason Pratt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Géraud Michel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rosendo Jarrell in the 61st minute of play. Rosendo Jarrell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Géraud Michel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mason Pratt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Louis Bingham made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucien Charette in the 71st minute of play forced Castor AFC's goalkeeper Louis Bingham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Castor AFC's goalkeeper Louis Bingham, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Louis Bingham came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Ralston's Lucien Charette. But to his dismay, Lucien Charette quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Lucien Charette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Louis Bingham having to interfere. With his leg Louis Bingham managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when Ralston's Mason Pratt fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Ralston booed when Castor AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clifford Fontenot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mason Pratt kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 96thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Castor AFC's keeper Louis Bingham was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ralston walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
