An unexpectedly hard shot by Guy Scales in the 6th minute of play forced Humbermouth AFC's goalkeeper Rudolph Haywood to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Angel Lespérance came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Nipigon FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angel Lespérance couldn't finish the play. In the 22nd minute, Jayson Couture hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Curtis Robbins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antoine Lavallée having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guy Scales in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rudolph Haywood prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kyle Swan charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kyle Swan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kyle Swan kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Curtis Robbins struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Antoine Lavallée didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Humbermouth AFC. Harlan Inman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guy Scales received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Rudolph Haywood tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 54th minute, Kyle Swan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 57 minutes into the game, Philippe Doe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Humbermouth AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nipigon FC the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Humbermouth AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 56th minute. Curtis Robbins could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Antoine Lavallée made a huge save. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Humbermouth AFC. Carlton Bailey placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 82nd minute Angel Lespérance shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rudolph Haywood saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Humbermouth AFC's Harlan Inman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Antoine Lavallée. That made the score 2-1 after 88 minutes of play. Curtis Robbins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Antoine Lavallée tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Curtis Robbins's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antoine Lavallée read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Angel Lespérance sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nipigon FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Humbermouth AFC for a fine match.
