Spectators: 6746 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1746, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Denver Baril made the kick off which started today's match. After a defensive mix-up in Blackwater's zone, Hunter Guay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aron Guinn came out of the goal and Hunter Guay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 5th minute, Denver Baril ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Thomason was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Carlos Thomason made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvin Saucier in the 12th minute of play. Denver Baril's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Thomason read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. In the 26th match minute, Blackwater was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justin Loiselle to maneuver through the defense. Émile Hopkins, 27 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Aron Guinn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reginald Marcheterre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, Hunter Guay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36th minute Reginald Marcheterre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Guinn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 44 played minutes Reginald Marcheterre rounded Blackwater's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reginald Marcheterre to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lavern Provencher during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Cranbrook FC booed when Blackwater was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lavern Provencher didn't get a good kick on the ball. Denver Baril blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Thomason having to make a save. A hard shot 66 in the game by Denver Baril from a close distance when the talented Carlos Thomason managed to make a qualified save. Cranbrook FC's players were relieved. Blackwater's Elvin Saucier got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlos Thomason showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denver Baril in the 70th minute of the match. When Cranbrook FC's Hunter Guay in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Blackwater's goalie prevented a goal. Aron Guinn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hunter Guay in the 76th minute of the match. Denver Baril received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Carlos Thomason tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th match minute, Blackwater was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lavern Provencher to maneuver through the defense. The nice shot from Elvin Saucier in the 88thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Carlos Thomason had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. If Denver Baril had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robin Sumner hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Carlos Thomason made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Elvin Saucier sent off a good shot on target. Hunter Guay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Blackwater players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Cranbrook FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
