In the 10th minute Alfred McClain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berry Cardenas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Luseland FC's Loren Patel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Danny Leroux narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alfred McClain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Berry Cardenas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Berry Cardenas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred McClain, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Royal Whitman in the 74th minute of play forced Essex's goalkeeper Danny Leroux to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the game, Loren Patel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Luseland FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Essex the free kick. Loren Patel kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 85th minute, one of Luseland FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Luseland FC. Ariel Goins shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Essex's Alfred McClain got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Luseland FC's Matt Labrecque got a free kick in the 90th minute. 95 minutes into the game, Santiago Doran was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Luseland FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Essex the free kick. The Essex players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Luseland FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
