Luseland FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Stuart Therriault scored to the left of an out of position Berry Cardenas, making the score, 1-0. A hard shot 8 in the game by Roberto Waters from a close distance when the talented Berry Cardenas managed to make a qualified save. Luseland FC's players were relieved. Loren Patel took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jefferson Steiner. Jefferson Steiner dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Luseland FC's Royal Whitman got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute Royal Whitman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jefferson Steiner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Luseland FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Mohamed Lampron hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stuart Therriault in the 22nd minute of play forced Luseland FC's goalkeeper Berry Cardenas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Max Wilkinson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stuart Therriault recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 25 minutes into the game, Miles Holcomb was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stoughton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Luseland FC the free kick. After having played for 29 minutes, Loren Patel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Luseland FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Loren Patel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Berry Cardenas made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Roberto Waters sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Stoughton's Miles Holcomb got a free kick in the 35th minute. Royal Whitman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Jefferson Steiner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Royal Whitman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Luseland FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Royal Whitman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jefferson Steiner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Royal Whitman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Luseland FC booed when Stoughton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miles Holcomb didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stoughton's Jefferson Steiner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Royal Whitman in the 47th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Royal Whitman to make the kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Stuart Therriault who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Luseland FC's Berry Cardenas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Loren Patel kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Roberto Waters's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Berry Cardenas was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Roberto Waters recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Stoughton getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Jimmie Kohler hit a great ball. Roberto Waters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Roberto Waters sped through Luseland FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Berry Cardenas. Roberto Waters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Berry Cardenas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
