Spectators: 6729 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 0) Tracy AFC's Denis Dawkins started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Tracy AFC's Willy Comer got a free kick in the 3rd minute. When Alfred McClain came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Essex fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfred McClain couldn't finish the play. Willy Comer hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, Ferdinand Whitman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Essex fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. If Alfred McClain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 28 played minutes Essex got a freekick which was hit by Jamaal Boykin. Willy Comer's late challenge caught a Essex's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Willy Comer helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Tracy AFC's Willy Comer got a free kick in the 31st minute. Alfred McClain's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Philbert Guinn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Danny Leroux took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Dawkins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Glen Reid in the 37th minute of play forced Essex's goalkeeper Danny Leroux to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tracy AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 41st minute, when Alfred McClain scored to the left of an out of position Philbert Guinn, making the score, 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfred McClain was the one to do the kick off. Philbert Guinn came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Essex's Alfred McClain. But to his dismay, Alfred McClain quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Alfred McClain might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Philbert Guinn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfred McClain ran back to his position shaking his head. After 58 played minutes Tracy AFC got a freekick which was hit by Willy Comer. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jamaal Boykin in the 59th minute of play forced Tracy AFC's goalkeeper Philbert Guinn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Essex booed when Tracy AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Palmer Arcouet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Glen Reid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danny Leroux having to interfere. If Alfred McClain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Danny Leroux took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Dawkins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Hector Stokes fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Essex's protests and gave Hector Stokes a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Tracy AFC booed when Essex was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Stokes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Danny Leroux made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Dawkins in the 82nd minute of play. Danny Leroux made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Dawkins in the 84th minute of play. Denis Dawkins took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Danny Leroux. Danny Leroux dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Denis Dawkins received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Danny Leroux came out and tried to block the shot, but Denis Dawkins slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 88th minute. Grover Rocher hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Essex's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
