Spectators: 6727 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Stuart Therriault made the kick off which started today's match. In the 2nd match minute, Tracy AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vince Caballero to maneuver through the defense. After 5 played minutes Tracy AFC got a freekick which was hit by Willy Comer. Philbert Guinn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Waters, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute, Willy Comer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stuart Therriault might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Philbert Guinn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stuart Therriault ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stuart Therriault during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 21st match minute, Stoughton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stuart Therriault to maneuver through the defense. Jefferson Steiner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Glen Reid in the 23rd minute. Tracy AFC's Denis Dawkins got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, Tracy AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Waters came free, but Philbert Guinn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Denis Dawkins who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Jefferson Steiner when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 34 played minutes Stoughton got a freekick which was hit by Jerrell L'Anglais. Stoughton's Jefferson Steiner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Stoughton from getting a goal against them. Stuart Therriault recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Denis Dawkins made the kick off in the second half. Palmer Arcouet scored 1-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jefferson Steiner, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 56 minutes into the game, Stoughton's Roberto Waters nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Philbert Guinn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Glen Reid sped through Stoughton's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jefferson Steiner. 64 minutes into the match, Tracy AFC's goalkeeper Philbert Guinn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roberto Waters. With his leg Philbert Guinn managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Stoughton's Roberto Waters fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Stoughton's Jefferson Steiner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Dawkins in the 69th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vince Caballero during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 70th minute of the game. One of Tracy AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Stoughton:s goal. Philbert Guinn went to the wrong direction when Hervé Oneill was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stuart Therriault in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Philbert Guinn saved Tracy AFC from getting behind. Stuart Therriault could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Philbert Guinn made a huge save. In the 81st minute, Glen Reid left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tracy AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Stoughton's Jefferson Steiner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Dawkins in the 85th minute of play. If Denis Dawkins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roberto Waters struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Philbert Guinn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stoughton. Stoughton's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
