Jefferson Steiner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavier House in the 8th minute of play. The supporters of Stoughton booed when Camlaren FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jamison Walden didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stuart Therriault received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Justin Gunter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Stuart Therriault's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Justin Gunter was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Stoughton's zone, Lindsay Davila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jefferson Steiner came out of the goal and Lindsay Davila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19th minute, Korey Hess hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Camlaren FC's Lindsay Davila got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stuart Therriault sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stuart Therriault's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Justin Gunter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Miles Holcomb hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute, Lindsay Davila got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jefferson Steiner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavier House in the 48th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

If Lindsay Davila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Camlaren FC's Millard Pate got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Roberto Waters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jefferson Steiner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lindsay Davila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, Camlaren FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Waters came free, but Justin Gunter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roberto Waters succeeded in the game's 75th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Lindsay Davila recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xavier House sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Camlaren FC's Lindsay Davila slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jefferson Steiner. That made the score 1-1 after 81 minutes of play.
