Spectators: 6737 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mike McClellan started the match with the kick off. In the 10th minute, Hoosier's Felton Spencer seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Felton Spencer the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Hoosier protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Felton Spencer had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Hoosier's Dalton Yeager played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bryon Herman in the 19th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chung Wolf got free with Dalton Yeager in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Bryon Herman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dalton Yeager was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. 35 minutes into the match, Hoosier's goal looked a bit too open when Bryon Herman came free, but Dalton Yeager reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Timmy Avery sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Donatien Mainville made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timmy Avery in the 45th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bryon Herman was the one to do the kick off. If Chung Wolf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 54 minutes, Alvin Doran mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Otterburne AFC and the Hoosier players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 61st minute, Ismael Layton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the match, Otterburne AFC's Irving Fortune broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 71 minutes into the match, Bryon Herman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dalton Yeager. Hoosier's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bryon Herman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Dalton Yeager stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bryon Herman's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Jan Haskins hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute, Chung Wolf got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Timmy Avery managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hoosier's supporters rose to their feet, but Timmy Avery was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donatien Mainville breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jan Haskins struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Donatien Mainville didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hoosier. After 92 minutes, Bryon Herman made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Hoosier's Dalton Yeager tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Chung Wolf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalton Yeager having to interfere.
