But to his dismay, Mike McClellan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 17 minutes, Désiré Rowland made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Hoosier's Dalton Yeager tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Hoosier's Dalton Yeager got control of the ball when Désiré Rowland tried to sneak it across the goal line. Désiré Rowland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Hoosier getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Fredrick Stafford hit a great ball. Désiré Rowland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Dalton Yeager tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Ismael Layton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Hecate FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Evan Pugh hit a great ball. Désiré Rowland who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Dalton Yeager when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 47th minute, Shawn Stout got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The wind increased when Mike McClellan made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Shawn Stout who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hoosier's Dalton Yeager was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 61 minutes, Désiré Rowland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hecate FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Désiré Rowland was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Désiré Rowland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hecate FC's Vern Smiley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mike McClellan in the 78th minute of play. Vern Smiley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mike McClellan, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Mike McClellan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Vern Smiley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dalton Yeager showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Désiré Rowland in the 91st minute of the match. Hoosier's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
