Dante Hutchison could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Eddie Senneville made a huge save. Antony Allen hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. When Morson FC's Todd Hawkins in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Harptree's goalie prevented a goal. If Ulysses Arias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dante Hutchison's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Eddie Senneville firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Todd Hawkins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Todd Hawkins in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andres Riddle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ulysses Arias scored 0-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andres Riddle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dante Hutchison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddie Senneville having to interfere. When Jack Holman came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Harptree fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jack Holman couldn't finish the play. Jack Holman was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 39th minute. Harptree's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a defensive mix-up in Morson FC's zone, Jack Holman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eddie Senneville came out of the goal and Jack Holman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andres Riddle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulysses Arias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ulysses Arias was the one to do the kick off. If Ulysses Arias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute Ulysses Arias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Riddle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Morson FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jack Holman came free, but Eddie Senneville reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 68 minutes, Todd Hawkins managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Morson FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Todd Hawkins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Harptree's Enoch Kinsey got a free kick in the 74th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Morson FC's zone, Dante Hutchison stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eddie Senneville came out of the goal and Dante Hutchison tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 78 minutes of play, Harptree's Jack Holman made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eddie Senneville was left in no man's land by his defense there! 2-1 became the score in the 82nd minute when Jack Holman elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Harptree fans cheered their team off the field, for while Morson FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
