When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Thibault Gagnon took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Milan Huard to make any attempt to save it. Augustine McConnell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Milan Huard made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Paulatuk AFC's Albert Perreault got a free kick in the 27th minute. 32 minutes into the game, Albert Perreault was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paulatuk AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Montreal BJK the free kick. In the 32nd match minute, Paulatuk AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Perreault to maneuver through the defense. In the 40thth minute of the game Dino Hunt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Montreal BJK's Gratien Hastings was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 43rd minute, Augustine McConnell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Milan Huard was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Brant Squires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Milan Huard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brant Squires was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Paulatuk AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Augustine McConnell came free, but Milan Huard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Paulatuk AFC's Dino Hunt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gratien Hastings narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thibault Gagnon kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Paulatuk AFC's Damien Naylor shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 86th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Gratien Hastings but with some difficulty. After 86 played minutes Montreal BJK got a freekick which was hit by Danial Willard. Gautier Wheeler got in the 88th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Gratien Hastings handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Paulatuk AFC's Milan Huard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brant Squires in the 90th minute of play. After 98 minutes, Elden Bourgouin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Montreal BJK and the Paulatuk AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 98th minute, Elden Bourgouin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 100 played minutes, Paulatuk AFC's Damien Naylor shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gratien Hastings came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Paulatuk AFC reached it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Montreal BJK fully deserved thier win.
