Randy Betts lost his temper 19 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The goalkeeper, Josh Pépin, was totally fooled by Morson FC's Xavier Hicks, who 21 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After 23 played minutes Morson FC got a freekick which was hit by Quentin Kenney. If Anderson Ohara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anderson Ohara struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Eddie Senneville didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Josh Pépin made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Todd Hawkins sent off a good shot on target. Anderson Ohara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddie Senneville having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Morson FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anderson Ohara came free, but Eddie Senneville reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ulysses Arias made a kick off. In the 50th match minute, Morson FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darell McKinley to maneuver through the defense. Anderson Ohara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Morson FC's Eddie Senneville proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Morson FC from getting a goal against them. 60 minutes into the match, Alliance AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ulysses Arias came free, but Josh Pépin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Todd Hawkins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Josh Pépin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute Todd Hawkins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josh Pépin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th match minute, Alliance AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paris Guérette to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the match, Alliance AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Todd Hawkins came free, but Josh Pépin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Royce Clay's late challenge caught a Morson FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alliance AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anderson Ohara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
