Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Kent Greenwood made the kick off which started today's match. Sammy Chaney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Achille McGhee having to interfere. If Ahmed Peachey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th match minute, Kegashka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Bouchard to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of Kegashka:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Neoskweskau:s goal. Michale Daigle kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Kegashka's Merlin Cyr dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. If Sammy Chaney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeramy Jefferson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmed Peachey in the 25th minute of play. In the 32nd minute of the match Noel Butts shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Achille McGhee showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ahmed Peachey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeramy Jefferson having to interfere. Sammy Chaney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sammy Chaney stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sammy Chaney recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Achille McGhee made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sammy Chaney in the 59th minute of play. If Ahmed Peachey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Greenwood in the 65th minute of play forced Kegashka's goalkeeper Jeramy Jefferson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Merlin Cyr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeramy Jefferson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kent Greenwood's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Jeramy Jefferson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Greenwood in the 75th minute of play. Sammy Chaney struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Achille McGhee didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kegashka. After 81 played minutes Neoskweskau got a freekick which was hit by Gregorio Valentin. In the 88th minute, Elliot Lauzier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Sammy Chaney managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kegashka's supporters rose to their feet, but Sammy Chaney was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Achille McGhee breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
