Todd Hawkins in the 10thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gratien Hastings, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gratien Hastings made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulysses Arias in the 12th minute of play. In the 15thth minute of the game Ulysses Arias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Montreal BJK's Gratien Hastings was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Ulysses Arias lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Gratien Hastings. Montreal BJK's Gratien Hastings played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulysses Arias in the 24th minute of play. If Brant Squires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Darell McKinley hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the match, Morson FC's goal looked a bit too open when Augustine McConnell came free, but Eddie Senneville reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Morson FC's Ulysses Arias in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Montreal BJK's goalie prevented a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brant Squires to make the kick off. Montreal BJK's Thibault Gagnon suffered a sore foot after 59 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Darell McKinley charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Darell McKinley the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Morson FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Darell McKinley hit a great ball. After 62 minutes, Chadwick Sheridan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Morson FC and the Montreal BJK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 62nd minute, Chadwick Sheridan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gratien Hastings made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulysses Arias in the 64th minute of play. Todd Hawkins might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gratien Hastings. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Todd Hawkins ran back to his position shaking his head. Elliot Blalock hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brant Squires in the 72nd minute of play forced Morson FC's goalkeeper Eddie Senneville to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute Todd Hawkins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gratien Hastings saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Morson FC's Ulysses Arias in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Morson FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Brant Squires 87 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. 91 minutes into the match, Morson FC's goalkeeper Eddie Senneville had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kermit Piedalue. After a defensive mix-up in Montreal BJK's zone, Ulysses Arias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gratien Hastings came out of the goal and Ulysses Arias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eddie Senneville didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Augustine McConnell went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The Montreal BJK players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Morson FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
