Rathburn FC's Refugio Higgins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelien Richmond in the 5th minute of play. Royal Shepherd hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Refugio Higgins came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Rosswood AFC's Aurelien Richmond. But to his dismay, Aurelien Richmond quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Odilon Picard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rathburn FC's Eddie Wyatt got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Odilon Picard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Odilon Picard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Noah Boulanger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Odilon Picard in the 30th minute of play. After having played for 32 minutes, Eddie Wyatt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rathburn FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eddie Wyatt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rosswood AFC's Noah Boulanger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Odilon Picard in the 33rd minute of play. Sydney McFarland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Refugio Higgins having to interfere. Refugio Higgins stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aurelien Richmond's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Rosswood AFC's Noah Boulanger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Odilon Picard in the 43rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Rosswood AFC defense, Odilon Picard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Noah Boulanger. The Rosswood AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Noah Boulanger should have stopped the shot. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Aurelien Richmond struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Refugio Higgins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rosswood AFC. Eddie Wyatt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noah Boulanger having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eddie Wyatt in the 63rd minute of play forced Rosswood AFC's goalkeeper Noah Boulanger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sydney McFarland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Refugio Higgins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Aurelien Richmond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Dieudonné Cowan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Refugio Higgins was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. The goalkeeper, Refugio Higgins, was totally fooled by Rosswood AFC's Neil Griffith, who 90 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a defensive mix-up in Rosswood AFC's zone, Eddie Wyatt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noah Boulanger came out of the goal and Eddie Wyatt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eddie Wyatt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noah Boulanger having to interfere. The Rosswood AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Rosswood AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
