Spectators: 6728 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Pasquale Laderoute got the match started through his kick off. With an all-out effort, Hylo's Jamaal Childs threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pasquale Laderoute, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jackie Colbert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jamaal Childs having to interfere. Burton Middleton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Max Mansfield tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Josue Tang might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Max Mansfield. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Josue Tang ran back to his position shaking his head. When Pasquale Laderoute came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Hylo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pasquale Laderoute couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Hylo getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Columbus Aaron hit a great ball. Pasquale Laderoute's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Jamaal Childs skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Pasquale Laderoute struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Jamaal Childs didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hylo. After a rather tough play, Finnegan FC's Trenton Pritchard got a free kick in the 36th minute. Pasquale Laderoute sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Burton Middleton made the kick off in the second half. An unexpected shot in the 55th minute by Josue Tang got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Finnegan FC's Burton Middleton got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hylo's Juste Parks couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Finnegan FC. In the 66th minute, Merrill Hansen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 70 minutes, Josue Tang managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Finnegan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Josue Tang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Max Mansfield showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Burton Middleton in the 75th minute of the match. Josue Tang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Max Mansfield tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pasquale Laderoute received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Jamaal Childs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pasquale Laderoute might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jamaal Childs. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pasquale Laderoute ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Finnegan FC's zone, Pasquale Laderoute stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jamaal Childs came out of the goal and Pasquale Laderoute tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Josue Tang's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Max Mansfield read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Pasquale Laderoute fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jamaal Childs having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
