Spectators: 6733 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Pasquale Laderoute took the kick off in the first half of the match. Guadalupe Jolicoeur's late challenge caught a Coulter FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guadalupe Jolicoeur helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Hylo's Guadalupe Jolicoeur got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After having played for 4 minutes, Tad Pelland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coulter FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tad Pelland was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Hylo's Kim Hawley got a free kick in the 6th minute. Tad Pelland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Mansfield having to interfere. Glen Lewis hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Hylo's Juste Parks couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 11th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Coulter FC. In the 20th minute, Roderick Richmond got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 26 minutes into the game, Juste Parks was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hylo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coulter FC the free kick. The supporters of Coulter FC booed when Hylo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juste Parks didn't get a good kick on the ball. Coulter FC's Stephen Bennett couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 31st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Hylo. Galen Douglas hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Stephen Bennett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jackie Colbert might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rusty England. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jackie Colbert ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 38th minute Pasquale Laderoute shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rusty England saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Coulter FC's zone, Pasquale Laderoute stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rusty England came out of the goal and Pasquale Laderoute tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jackie Colbert succeeded in the game's 41st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Coulter FC's Rusty England played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pasquale Laderoute in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tad Pelland stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rusty England made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jackie Colbert in the 60th minute. In the 62nd match minute, Hylo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Goodman to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hylo's goalkeeper Max Mansfield, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Tad Pelland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Roderick Richmond sped through Hylo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Max Mansfield. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roderick Richmond in the 86th minute of play forced Hylo's goalkeeper Max Mansfield to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Hylo getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Columbus Aaron hit a great ball. In the 89th match minute, Hylo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Émilien Vega to maneuver through the defense. Roderick Richmond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Mansfield having to interfere. Tad Pelland struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Max Mansfield didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coulter FC. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Coulter FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
