Walsh's supporters crossed their fingers, but Duane Zimmer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Duane Zimmer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chas Ellison made an important save on a dangerous shot by Burl Harquin in the 32nd minute. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Darrell Faucher made the kick off in the second half. If Burl Harquin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Darrell Faucher ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Chas Ellison was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 61st match minute, Arena FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaud Berg to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the Walsh players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Arena FC.
