Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rod Goode made the kick off which started today's match. When Hubert Barber fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Falconbridge's protests and gave Hubert Barber a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th minute there was a penalty for Chibougamau. Alec Jack stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Noble McLaughlin. 1-0. With a little luck, Falconbridge's Noble McLaughlin got control of the ball when Harrison Robillard tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Falconbridge's Deshawn McLaughlin got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 17th minute Antwan Worthington shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Paul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antwan Worthington sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chibougamau's Jose Paul played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antwan Worthington in the 21st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marty Audet during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 22nd minute, Marty Audet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernie Capps in the 24th minute of play forced Falconbridge's goalkeeper Noble McLaughlin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Falconbridge's Noble McLaughlin got control of the ball when Harrison Robillard tried to sneak it across the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Chibougamau's Nicholas Faucher sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Noble McLaughlin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 46th minute of the match, Bernie Capps tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Noble McLaughlin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernie Capps made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Nicholas Faucher's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Noble McLaughlin was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. In the 56th minute, Harrison Robillard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jose Paul made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Antwan Worthington sent off a good shot on target. When Antwan Worthington came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Falconbridge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antwan Worthington couldn't finish the play. Nicholas Faucher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicholas Faucher struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Noble McLaughlin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chibougamau. Marty Audet kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Jose Paul was a little too slow when Antwan Worthington got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 3-1. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Falconbridge's goalkeeper Noble McLaughlin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 92nd minute, Jesse Noble hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
