Spectators: 6739 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alden Foreman took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute Alden Foreman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prosper Osborn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes into the game, Claude Rushing cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Renato Hamlin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 12th minute, Alden Foreman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Prosper Osborn was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Renato Hamlin made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Claude Rushing sent off a good shot on target. If Bruce Bates had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Richmond's Bruce Bates got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nominingue's Renato Hamlin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruce Bates in the 24th minute of play. In the 31st minute Bruce Bates shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renato Hamlin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nominingue's goalkeeper Renato Hamlin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Quentin Belanger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prosper Osborn having to interfere. In the 44th minute Quentin Belanger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prosper Osborn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Bruce Bates made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Nominingue's goal looked a bit too open when Bruce Bates came free, but Renato Hamlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Renato Hamlin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claude Rushing in the 55th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Nominingue's Burl Covillon got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Bruce Bates took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Renato Hamlin. Renato Hamlin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Richmond! The referee gave Nominingue a penalty, 69 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Anton Farrell, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Richmond's Prosper Osborn. 2-2. If Alden Foreman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Prosper Osborn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alden Foreman in the 75th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Bruce Bates left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Richmond fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. 82 minutes into the match, Nominingue's goal looked a bit too open when Claude Rushing came free, but Renato Hamlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Richmond's Bruce Bates got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nominingue's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
