Gaétan Grover, 13 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Rémi Bishop received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Lawrence Feliciano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 22 minutes of play, Yarmouth FC's Rémi Bishop made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lawrence Feliciano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rémi Bishop might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lawrence Feliciano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rémi Bishop ran back to his position shaking his head. Burl Harquin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Lance LaCaille made a huge save. If Burl Harquin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Yarmouth FC's Gaétan Grover got a free kick in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darrell Faucher in the 41st minute of play forced Yarmouth FC's goalkeeper Lance LaCaille to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Yarmouth FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Richard Gallegos hit a great ball. In the 44th minute of the match Dallas Benson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lance LaCaille showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Noel Rivière charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Noel Rivière the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th match minute, Yarmouth FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noel Rivière to maneuver through the defense. Burl Harquin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 47thth minute, Lance LaCaille skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rémi Bishop stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 56 minutes, Rémi Bishop managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yarmouth FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rémi Bishop was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Arena FC's Guy Bailey got a free kick in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darrell Faucher in the 70th minute of play forced Yarmouth FC's goalkeeper Lance LaCaille to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Yarmouth FC's zone, Darrell Faucher stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lance LaCaille came out of the goal and Darrell Faucher tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 75 played minutes Yarmouth FC got a freekick which was hit by Noel Rivière. Yarmouth FC's Lance LaCaille played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Burl Harquin in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th minute of the match, Rémi Bishop tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lawrence Feliciano saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Yarmouth FC's Lance LaCaille played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Burl Harquin in the 86th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Apollinaire Stewart during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Yarmouth FC booed when Arena FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apollinaire Stewart didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Yarmouth FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
