Antwan Worthington fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lyman Reece having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Rod Goode made a precise shot to the right of Lyman Reece. Pacofi FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Lyman Reece showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rod Goode in the 31st minute of the match. Eloi Savoie hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, Falconbridge's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Person came free, but Noble McLaughlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Curtis Guay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noble McLaughlin having to interfere. The supporters of Pacofi FC booed when Falconbridge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laurence Séguin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 44 minutes, Junior Ruel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pacofi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Junior Ruel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rod Goode made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antwan Worthington got free with Lyman Reece in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Damian Person received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Noble McLaughlin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Noble McLaughlin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Junior Ruel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Damian Person's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Noble McLaughlin was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Junior Ruel scored 1-1 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Noble McLaughlin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
