The referee showed Columbus Martinez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rayford Ewing fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chas Ellison having to interfere. Chas Ellison took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Columbus Martinez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Walsh defense, Rayford Ewing kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chas Ellison. The Walsh fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chas Ellison should have stopped the shot. When Burnsville's Rayford Ewing in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Walsh's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rayford Ewing in the 25th minute of play forced Walsh's goalkeeper Chas Ellison to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rayford Ewing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Columbus Martinez came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Burnsville fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Columbus Martinez couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Walsh's goalkeeper Chas Ellison, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Columbus Martinez struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Chas Ellison didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Burnsville. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rayford Ewing in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chas Ellison prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Burnsville's zone, Carol Wells stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eusebio Purcell came out of the goal and Carol Wells tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chas Ellison came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Burnsville's Rayford Ewing. But to his dismay, Rayford Ewing quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carol Wells to make the kick off. When Sherman Guevara fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Walsh's protests and gave Sherman Guevara a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd match minute, Walsh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sherman Guevara to maneuver through the defense. Carol Wells fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusebio Purcell having to interfere. Walsh's Chas Ellison played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rayford Ewing in the 59th minute of play. If Columbus Martinez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Walsh getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Rocco Whitaker hit a great ball. When Rayford Ewing came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Burnsville fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rayford Ewing couldn't finish the play. Rayford Ewing blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Chas Ellison having to make a save. In the 73rd minute, Amado Rosario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The excitement rose when Walsh's Rocco Whitaker after 75 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Burnsville's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 1-2. After 79 minutes, Rueben Racicot mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Burnsville and the Walsh players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 79 played minutes Burnsville got a freekick which was hit by Rueben Racicot. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Walsh's goalkeeper Chas Ellison, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Columbus Martinez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Chas Ellison tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Duane Zimmer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Columbus Martinez took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chas Ellison. Chas Ellison dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Burnsville had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
