Spectators: 6738 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1738, VIP seats: 0) Bruce Bates started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Apollinaire Stewart's late challenge caught a Richmond's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Apollinaire Stewart helped the player get up and apologised. Apollinaire Stewart kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Lawrence Feliciano came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Richmond's Bruce Bates. But to his dismay, Bruce Bates quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Bruce Bates fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lawrence Feliciano having to interfere. Carol Yazzie hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. If Darrell Faucher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Darrell Faucher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruce Bates fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lawrence Feliciano having to interfere. A collision led to Arena FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Guy Bailey hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Claude Rushing managed to get in a good position for a shot. Richmond's supporters rose to their feet, but Claude Rushing was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lawrence Feliciano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bruce Bates struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Lawrence Feliciano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Richmond. Claude Rushing's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 45thth minute, Lawrence Feliciano skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Burl Harquin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 57th match minute, Richmond was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michal Greene to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Richmond's zone, Darrell Faucher stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prosper Osborn came out of the goal and Darrell Faucher tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darrell Faucher in the 59th minute of play forced Richmond's goalkeeper Prosper Osborn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Darrell Faucher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A nice corner shot did that Dallas Benson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Prosper Osborn quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a defensive mix-up in Richmond's zone, Darrell Faucher stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prosper Osborn came out of the goal and Darrell Faucher tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gratien Jackson kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Lawrence Feliciano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruce Bates, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Bruce Bates recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Burl Harquin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 88 played minutes Richmond got a freekick which was hit by Michal Greene. In the 96th minute, Burl Harquin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There was no doubt that Richmond were the better team. Richmond's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
