Nominingue's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rayford Ewing was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 9th minute, Tom Milligan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Errol Hogue's late challenge caught a Burnsville's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Errol Hogue helped the player get up and apologised. Errol Hogue kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 17thth minute of the game Alden Foreman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Burnsville's Eusebio Purcell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Columbus Martinez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renato Hamlin having to interfere. A collision led to Nominingue getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Errol Hogue hit a great ball. If Rayford Ewing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Nominingue defense, Columbus Martinez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Renato Hamlin. The Nominingue fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Renato Hamlin should have stopped the shot. Nominingue's Renato Hamlin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rayford Ewing in the 34th minute of play. In the 37th minute Columbus Martinez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renato Hamlin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th match minute, Nominingue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Burl Covillon to maneuver through the defense. Rayford Ewing fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renato Hamlin having to interfere. Renato Hamlin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Columbus Martinez, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Columbus Martinez scored 0-3 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Renato Hamlin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Burnsville were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alden Foreman to make the kick off. Burnsville's Columbus Martinez got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Burnsville's Eusebio Purcell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alden Foreman in the 57th minute of play. If Columbus Martinez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute Rayford Ewing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renato Hamlin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Renato Hamlin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rayford Ewing in the 67th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Columbus Martinez fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Renato Hamlin, passed just outside the right post. If Rayford Ewing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Nominingue getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Alden Foreman hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Nominingue's Alden Foreman got a free kick in the 80th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Columbus Martinez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Burnsville's supporters rose to their feet, but Columbus Martinez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renato Hamlin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 82nd minute Quentin Belanger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusebio Purcell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alden Foreman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusebio Purcell having to interfere. 91 minutes into the game, Alden Foreman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Eusebio Purcell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 97th minute Rayford Ewing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renato Hamlin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Burnsville left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Nominingue.
