To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jérémie Braden didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 43rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marty McGraw was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Marty McGraw made a precise shot to the right of Sebastian Baca. Hope's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 57thth minute of the game Alfonso Shapiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Moyie's Jérémie Braden was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hope's Sebastian Baca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marty McGraw in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Alfonso Shapiro notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Moyie's Jérémie Braden. Jérémie Braden was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jérémie Braden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Keenan Alfaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The audience was convinced that Keenan Alfaro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jérémie Braden was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Alfonso Shapiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jérémie Braden having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Hope's goal looked a bit too open when Marty McGraw came free, but Sebastian Baca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 80 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hope! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Barrett Bourgeois during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 85th minute, Barrett Bourgeois hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Art Sapp hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. If Marty McGraw had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hope were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Moyie to leave the ground with a draw.
