With a left leg Vern Benoit saved Kluahne AFC from getting behind. 10 minutes into the match, Heaslip AFC's goalkeeper Seth Dodge had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Terrence Mooney. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernie Link in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vern Benoit prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 19th match minute, Kluahne AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso Gamble to maneuver through the defense. If Judson Laliberté had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Lorenzo Dean managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kluahne AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lorenzo Dean was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Seth Dodge breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ernie Link received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Vern Benoit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernie Link sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Kluahne AFC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Tuan Bouvier hit a great ball. Vern Benoit stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ernie Link's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Terrence Mooney struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Seth Dodge didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kluahne AFC. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Judson Laliberté made a kick off. Terrence Mooney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Seth Dodge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Heaslip AFC's zone, Lucas Couet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Seth Dodge came out of the goal and Lucas Couet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute Terrence Mooney shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Seth Dodge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Heaslip AFC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Lauren McDermott hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Heaslip AFC's Lauren McDermott got a free kick in the 68th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Kluahne AFC's Salvador Lachapelle broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Seth Dodge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Couet in the 73rd minute of the match. Seth Dodge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Couet, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. When Judson Laliberté came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Heaslip AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Judson Laliberté couldn't finish the play. Lorenzo Dean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seth Dodge having to interfere. A collision led to Heaslip AFC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Colombe Villeneuve hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Kluahne AFC's zone, Ernie Link stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vern Benoit came out of the goal and Ernie Link tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lorenzo Dean kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 90th minute of the match, Colombe Villeneuve tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vern Benoit saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 95th minute, Constantin Vachon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 97 minutes, Terrence Mooney managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kluahne AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Terrence Mooney was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kluahne AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
