Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Darius Cullen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 25 minutes of play, Palling AFC's Ira Nash made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erick Quessy was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Palling AFC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Rodrick Madsen hit a great ball. In the 34th match minute, Palling AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurt Fraser to maneuver through the defense. Jamey McQueen was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 34th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Blair Sawyer to strike the kick off in the second half. If Ted Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 53rd minute, Matthieu Beltran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Attawapiskat AFC's goalkeeper Erick Quessy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Darius Cullen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matthieu Beltran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute, Ira Nash got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Attawapiskat AFC's Robbie Kendrick got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Erick Quessy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blair Sawyer in the 74th minute of play. Blair Sawyer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erick Quessy having to interfere. Erick Quessy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blair Sawyer, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Erick Quessy made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Ira Nash sent off a good shot on target. Blair Sawyer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Palling AFC's Ira Nash has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 84th minute. Ted Lucas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Darius Cullen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
