The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Matthieu Beltran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Augustine Bondy managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when Attawapiskat AFC's Matthieu Beltran fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 20 played minutes, Attawapiskat AFC's Otha Morin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Augustine Bondy came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Attawapiskat AFC reached it. In the 23rd minute of the match, Ted Lucas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Augustine Bondy was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Augustine Bondy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matthieu Beltran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Justin Colvin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Erick Quessy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ted Lucas took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Augustine Bondy. Augustine Bondy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Erick Quessy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justin Colvin in the 41st minute of the match. If Ted Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the game, Ellis Odell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coulter FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Attawapiskat AFC the free kick. In the 44th match minute, Coulter FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ellis Odell to maneuver through the defense. Jamey McQueen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Augustine Bondy. Coulter FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

Coulter FC's Augustine Bondy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthieu Beltran in the 53rd minute of play. Matthieu Beltran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augustine Bondy having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Lino Timmons made a precise shot to the right of Erick Quessy. Attawapiskat AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Augustine Bondy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matthieu Beltran's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Augustine Bondy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ted Lucas in the 77th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Coulter FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ted Lucas came free, but Augustine Bondy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Coulter FC's Augustine Bondy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthieu Beltran in the 81st minute of play. If Matthieu Beltran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Justin Colvin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coulter FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Justin Colvin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erick Quessy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
