In the 10th minute, Heriberto Sauvé made a precise shot to the right of Jérémie Braden. Moyie's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Marty McGraw fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guy Huntley having to interfere. Peterborough FC's Guy Huntley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loup Hardin in the 14th minute of play. Terrell Butts's late challenge caught a Moyie's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Terrell Butts helped the player get up and apologised. In the 18th match minute, Peterborough FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Terrell Butts to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Marty McGraw managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moyie's supporters rose to their feet, but Marty McGraw was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guy Huntley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jérémie Braden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quinn Bisaillon in the 23rd minute of the match. A collision led to Moyie getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Freddie Conrad hit a great ball. After 27 played minutes, Peterborough FC's Donat Taylor shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jérémie Braden came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Peterborough FC reached it. In the 30th match minute, Peterborough FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lyman Carignan to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute Marty McGraw shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guy Huntley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guy Huntley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marty McGraw in the 35th minute of play. In the 42ndth minute of the game Loup Hardin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peterborough FC's Guy Huntley was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Freddie Conrad's late challenge caught a Peterborough FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Freddie Conrad helped the player get up and apologised. Freddie Conrad hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Quinn Bisaillon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Lyman Carignan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Freddie Conrad sped through Peterborough FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Guy Huntley. Quinn Bisaillon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jefferey Curtis fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Moyie's protests and gave Jefferey Curtis a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Moyie fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 67th minute. Penalty! Jérémie Braden went to the wrong direction when Donat Taylor was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Quinn Bisaillon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jérémie Braden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quinn Bisaillon in the 74th minute of the match. When Quinn Bisaillon came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Peterborough FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Quinn Bisaillon couldn't finish the play. Quinn Bisaillon got in the 78th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Jérémie Braden handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 79th match minute, Moyie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddie Conrad to maneuver through the defense. Heriberto Sauvé fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jérémie Braden having to interfere. Guy Huntley made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Loup Hardin sent off a good shot on target. If Quinn Bisaillon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute Quinn Bisaillon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jérémie Braden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marty McGraw sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute, Peterborough FC's Columbus Enriquez seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Columbus Enriquez the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Peterborough FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Columbus Enriquez had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 94th minute, one of Peterborough FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Peterborough FC. Loup Hardin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 102nd minute. Guy Huntley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Moyie supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Moyie would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
