Marty McGraw received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Erick Quessy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Attawapiskat AFC's goalkeeper Erick Quessy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Loup Hardin. If Marty McGraw had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erick Quessy made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Loup Hardin sent off a good shot on target. After 13 played minutes Attawapiskat AFC got a freekick which was hit by Robbie Kendrick. When Thurman Good fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Attawapiskat AFC's protests and gave Thurman Good a yellow card for diving instead. Thurman Good hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Attawapiskat AFC's goalkeeper Erick Quessy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ted Lucas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matthieu Beltran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the game, Freddie Conrad was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moyie's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Attawapiskat AFC the free kick. Jérémie Braden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ted Lucas in the 37th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Attawapiskat AFC's Ted Lucas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jérémie Braden narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Attawapiskat AFC's zone, Freddie Conrad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erick Quessy came out of the goal and Freddie Conrad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 44 minutes into the match, Moyie's goal looked a bit too open when Ted Lucas came free, but Jérémie Braden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Loup Hardin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Erick Quessy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Matthieu Beltran made the kick off in the second half. Laverne Beck charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Laverne Beck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 51 played minutes Moyie got a freekick which was hit by Laverne Beck. If Matthieu Beltran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matthieu Beltran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jérémie Braden having to interfere. 67 minutes into the game, Attawapiskat AFC's Ted Lucas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jérémie Braden made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Erick Quessy came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Moyie's Loup Hardin. But to his dismay, Loup Hardin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 76th minute, Marty McGraw got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ted Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jérémie Braden having to interfere. The supporters of Attawapiskat AFC booed when Moyie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddie Conrad didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the game, Matthieu Beltran lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Jérémie Braden. In the 88th minute of the match Jospeh Woodard shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erick Quessy showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ted Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jérémie Braden having to interfere. In the 92nd match minute, Attawapiskat AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jake Rhéaume to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marty McGraw in the 95th minute of play forced Attawapiskat AFC's goalkeeper Erick Quessy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
