Spectators: 6716 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Quinn Bisaillon started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Peterborough FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Lyman Carignan hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Attawapiskat AFC's Ted Lucas got a free kick in the 11th minute. Heriberto Sauvé received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Erick Quessy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Matthieu Beltran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peterborough FC's Guy Huntley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthieu Beltran in the 21st minute of play. Matthieu Beltran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guy Huntley having to interfere. Quinn Bisaillon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erick Quessy having to interfere. Quinn Bisaillon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Peterborough FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ted Lucas came free, but Guy Huntley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, one of Attawapiskat AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When Robbie Kendrick fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Attawapiskat AFC's protests and gave Robbie Kendrick a yellow card for diving instead. After 40 played minutes Attawapiskat AFC got a freekick which was hit by Robbie Kendrick. Lyman Carignan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Erick Quessy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matthieu Beltran to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Ted Lucas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Attawapiskat AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ted Lucas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Peterborough FC's goal looked a bit too open when Matthieu Beltran came free, but Guy Huntley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Quinn Bisaillon ran back to his position shaking his head. 63 minutes into the game, Peterborough FC's Heriberto Sauvé nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erick Quessy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 67th minute, Robbie Kendrick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Attawapiskat AFC's zone, Heriberto Sauvé stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erick Quessy came out of the goal and Heriberto Sauvé tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erick Quessy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heriberto Sauvé in the 81st minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Peterborough FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ted Lucas fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 86th minute, Ted Lucas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 94 minutes, Ted Lucas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Attawapiskat AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ted Lucas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
