The supporters of Padlei booed when Cliffside FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolphe Raymond didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cliffside FC's goalkeeper Leandro Labrecque, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Heath Middleton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Leandro Labrecque tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Heriberto Bullard struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Leandro Labrecque didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Padlei. In the 17th minute, Heath Middleton made a precise shot to the right of Leandro Labrecque. Cliffside FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 28 minutes into the match, Padlei's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Lampron came free, but Hilaire Queen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leandro Labrecque stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Heath Middleton's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Hilaire Queen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Lampron in the 46th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank Lampron made a kick off. Frank Lampron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Padlei's Heath Middleton in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Heath Middleton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Myron Roes short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Leandro Labrecque to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Myron Roe came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Padlei fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Myron Roe couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Cliffside FC's zone, Myron Roe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leandro Labrecque came out of the goal and Myron Roe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cliffside FC's Frank Lampron got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Raymond Snyder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
