Hilaire Queen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pons Nielsen in the 15th minute of the match. A collision led to Ouimet getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Michale Barrios hit a great ball. The supporters of Padlei booed when Ouimet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jefferson Hadley didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute, Jefferson Hadley left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ouimet fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 23rd minute, Jefferson Hadley ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hilaire Queen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 26th minute, Davis Marcus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cornell Christie kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After 29 played minutes Ouimet got a freekick which was hit by Raul Rosario. Ouimet's Marty Byrne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heath Middleton in the 32nd minute of play. A collision led to Ouimet getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Alfred Faure hit a great ball. Hilaire Queen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pons Nielsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Jefferson Hadley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ouimet's supporters rose to their feet, but Jefferson Hadley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hilaire Queen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cornell Christie hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. If Heath Middleton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Jefferson Hadley made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Myron Roe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pons Nielsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilaire Queen having to interfere. Jefferson Hadley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Heriberto Bullard kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Padlei's Heriberto Bullard got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Josiah Moïse kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Marty Byrne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Myron Roe, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After 80 played minutes Ouimet got a freekick which was hit by Raul Rosario. Padlei's Heath Middleton got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Myron Roe made a precise shot to the right of Marty Byrne. Ouimet's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 93 minutes into the match, Heath Middleton notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Ouimet's Marty Byrne. Marty Byrne was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
