Evrard Hills took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Lampron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Delburne's Pablo Crowder got a free kick in the 18th minute. After 19 played minutes, Cliffside FC's Jess Watkins shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Evrard Hills came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cliffside FC reached it. 22 minutes into the game, Roy Sparks was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cliffside FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Delburne the free kick. Roy Sparks kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Lampron in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evrard Hills saved Delburne from getting behind. The Cliffside FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Delburne were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Christophe Major made the kick off in the second half. If Raymond Snyder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 53rd minute of the match Jess Watkins shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Evrard Hills showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Leandro Labrecque made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Ronny Séguin sent off a good shot on target. Frank Lampron struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Evrard Hills didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cliffside FC. Evrard Hills stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raymond Snyder's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Delburne's Bernard Bullard shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 79th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Leandro Labrecque but with some difficulty. Evrard Hills showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Lampron in the 80th minute of the match. Raymond Snyder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Raymond Snyder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christophe Major sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute Raymond Snyder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evrard Hills saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brain Laforge during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Cliffside FC booed when Delburne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brain Laforge didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roy Sparks kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christophe Major in the 96th minute of play forced Cliffside FC's goalkeeper Leandro Labrecque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Delburne had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
