Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nolan Murdock made a kick off. The supporters of Churchill booed when Sutton FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alden Alley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aimé Weber took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hubert Aucoin. Oswaldo Conn acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 69th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Dannie Lajeunesse. Hubert Aucoin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from César Laberge in the 71st minute of play. In the 78th minute of the match Devon Clark sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Oswaldo Conn skillfully saved the ball. Hector Moss fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oswaldo Conn having to interfere. Nolan Murdock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Oswaldo Conn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 90 played minutes Sutton FC got a freekick which was hit by Brock Bloom. If Nolan Murdock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hector Moss sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oswaldo Conn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nolan Murdock, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
