Spectators: 6719 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Peter Zimmerman got the match started through his kick off. Clarence Slaughter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseph Akins having to interfere. In the 10thth minute of the game Clarence Slaughter who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carmel AFC's Joseph Akins was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carmel AFC's goalkeeper Joseph Akins, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 0-1 became the score in the 17th minute when Clarence Slaughter elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Daryl Brunson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Carmel AFC booed when Dieppe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clair Brewster didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 25 played minutes, Carmel AFC's Ramiro Arias shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Broderick Ritter came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Carmel AFC reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antwan Simms in the 31st minute of play forced Dieppe's goalkeeper Broderick Ritter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Ramiro Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Broderick Ritter made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Louis Siegel sent off a good shot on target. After 44 minutes of play, Dieppe's Clarence Slaughter made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joseph Akins was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Carmel AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Dieppe were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Clarence Slaughter to strike the kick off in the second half. Joseph Akins didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 53rd minute, which inside left pole to 0-4. Vincenzo Brodeur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Broderick Ritter having to interfere. Vincenzo Brodeur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Carmel AFC's Peter Zimmerman in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dieppe's goalie prevented a goal. Daryl Brunson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joseph Akins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clarence Slaughter in the 77th minute of play. Joseph Akins stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clarence Slaughter's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. If Antwan Simms had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the match, Vincenzo Brodeur notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Dieppe's Broderick Ritter. Broderick Ritter was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dieppe's Broderick Ritter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vincenzo Brodeur in the 97th minute of play.
