Spectators: 6719 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 0) Diodore Manley started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute Anatole Ballard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mel Lejeune saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Shebandowan's zone, Patrick Garnier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Merrill Dionne came out of the goal and Patrick Garnier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 9 in the game by Palmer Bingham from a close distance when the talented Merrill Dionne managed to make a qualified save. Shebandowan's players were relieved. With his leg Merrill Dionne managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Chesterfield AFC's Palmer Bingham fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 24 minutes, Chris Simms mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chesterfield AFC and the Shebandowan players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mel Lejeune made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diodore Manley in the 27th minute of play. The supporters of Shebandowan booed when Chesterfield AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Terrence Pelchat didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anatole Ballard in the 31st minute of play forced Chesterfield AFC's goalkeeper Mel Lejeune to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Terrence Pelchat hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the match, Chesterfield AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Anatole Ballard came free, but Mel Lejeune reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patrick Garnier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Chesterfield AFC's Patrick Garnier got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 43rd minute, Palmer Bingham ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Merrill Dionne was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Travis Cabrera hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Patrick Garnier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Terrence Pelchat during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Palmer Bingham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Merrill Dionne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Anatole Ballard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shebandowan's supporters rose to their feet, but Anatole Ballard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mel Lejeune breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diodore Manley in the 69th minute of play forced Chesterfield AFC's goalkeeper Mel Lejeune to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diodore Manley in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mel Lejeune saved Chesterfield AFC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Anatole Ballard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shebandowan's supporters rose to their feet, but Anatole Ballard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mel Lejeune breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 77 minutes into the game, Shebandowan's Diodore Manley nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mel Lejeune made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 82 played minutes Shebandowan got a freekick which was hit by Diodore Manley. Palmer Bingham struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Merrill Dionne didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chesterfield AFC. After a defensive mix-up in Shebandowan's zone, Palmer Bingham stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Merrill Dionne came out of the goal and Palmer Bingham tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mel Lejeune showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diodore Manley in the 91st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diodore Manley in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mel Lejeune prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Patrick Garnier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
