Spectators: 6727 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Patrick Garnier took the kick off in the first half of the match. Palmer Bingham's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Moses Tharp read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Joël Bragg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Mel Lejeune tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jamal Stovall took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mel Lejeune. Chesterfield AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 12 minutes into the game, Calvin Lacasse cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Mel Lejeune was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Joël Bragg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Moses Tharp stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patrick Garnier's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Sexsmith's goal looked a bit too open when Patrick Garnier came free, but Moses Tharp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Calvin Lacasse came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Sexsmith fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Calvin Lacasse couldn't finish the play. Mel Lejeune came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Sexsmith's Joël Bragg. But to his dismay, Joël Bragg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Mel Lejeune showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calvin Lacasse in the 34th minute of the match. Mel Lejeune came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Sexsmith's Joël Bragg. But to his dismay, Joël Bragg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. If Terrence Pelchat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Chesterfield AFC's Loic Bizier couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 60th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Sexsmith. Joël Bragg might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mel Lejeune. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joël Bragg ran back to his position shaking his head. Calvin Lacasse scored 4-0 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mel Lejeune, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Chesterfield AFC's goalkeeper Mel Lejeune, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Moses Tharp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Palmer Bingham, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Patrick Garnier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Moses Tharp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patrick Garnier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moses Tharp having to interfere. Randall Raines hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sexsmith's zone, Patrick Garnier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moses Tharp came out of the goal and Patrick Garnier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Calvin Lacasse during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sexsmith's Calvin Lacasse got a free kick in the 87th minute. If Palmer Bingham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrick Garnier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Calvin Lacasse might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mel Lejeune. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Calvin Lacasse ran back to his position shaking his head. Calvin Lacasse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
