Joseph Akins was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Otto Lacroix during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Otto Lacroix kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. If Xerardo Aguilo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maxwell Greer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Obeko made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Vincenzo Brodeur sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, RC BARCARES's Émile Miller got a free kick in the 20th minute. Peter Zimmerman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Obeko having to interfere. Carmel AFC's Joseph Akins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apollinaire Neal in the 24th minute of play. The RC BARCARES fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when RC BARCARES's Xerardo Aguilo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Paulo Obeko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vincenzo Brodeur in the 31st minute of play. The supporters of Carmel AFC booed when RC BARCARES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kris Spence didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joseph Akins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Émile Miller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joseph Akins stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xerardo Aguilo's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. In the 43rd minute, Apollinaire Neal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Apollinaire Neal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Joseph Akins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Apollinaire Neal struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Joseph Akins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RC BARCARES. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Peter Zimmerman made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of RC BARCARES booed when Carmel AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Zimmerman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 59 minutes, Apollinaire Neal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RC BARCARES's supporters crossed their fingers, but Apollinaire Neal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of RC BARCARES booed when Carmel AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Louis Siegel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maxwell Greer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carmel AFC's Joseph Akins proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Carmel AFC from getting a goal against them. Maxwell Greer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseph Akins having to interfere. After 77 minutes, Louis Siegel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carmel AFC and the RC BARCARES players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 78th match minute, Carmel AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Louis Siegel to maneuver through the defense. After 83 played minutes Carmel AFC got a freekick which was hit by Louis Siegel. Maxwell Greer might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joseph Akins. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maxwell Greer ran back to his position shaking his head. Jacques Rousseau could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Joseph Akins made a huge save. The supporters of RC BARCARES booed when Carmel AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Zimmerman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joseph Akins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maxwell Greer in the 93rd minute of the match. With his leg Joseph Akins managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when RC BARCARES's Jacques Rousseau fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Xerardo Aguilo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded RC BARCARES left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Carmel AFC.
