Spectators: 6727 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Peter Zimmerman kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute of the match Chris Simms shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joseph Akins showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 7th minute, Peter Zimmerman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mel Lejeune. The goal made the score 1-0. Palmer Bingham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseph Akins having to interfere. Palmer Bingham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Joseph Akins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peter Zimmerman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mel Lejeune made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antwan Simms in the 18th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Chesterfield AFC's goalkeeper Mel Lejeune had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vincenzo Brodeur. Joseph Akins came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Chesterfield AFC's Patrick Garnier. But to his dismay, Patrick Garnier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpected shot in the 30th minute by Antwan Simms got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vincenzo Brodeur got free with Mel Lejeune in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 35th minute, Travis Cabrera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Chesterfield AFC booed when Carmel AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Louis Siegel didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patrick Garnier in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joseph Akins saved Carmel AFC from getting behind. 41 minutes into the match, Chesterfield AFC's goalkeeper Mel Lejeune had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vincenzo Brodeur. A collision led to Carmel AFC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Andre Vance hit a great ball. The audience held their breath when Loic Bizier in the 44th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Joseph Akins's left hand side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Patrick Garnier made the kick off in the second half. Joseph Akins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrick Garnier, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 57th minute, Terrence Pelchat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute, Peter Zimmerman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Chesterfield AFC's Antione Stein got a free kick in the 59th minute. When Peter Zimmerman came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Carmel AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peter Zimmerman couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Chesterfield AFC's zone, Vincenzo Brodeur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mel Lejeune came out of the goal and Vincenzo Brodeur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Carmel AFC booed when Chesterfield AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Simms didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carmel AFC's Ramiro Arias was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mel Lejeune in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Vincenzo Brodeur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Patrick Garnier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Palmer Bingham struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Joseph Akins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chesterfield AFC. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
