Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lester Ryder started the match with the kick off. After 5 played minutes Lester Ryder rounded Debert's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Debert's Buford Dykes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Debert from getting a goal against them. Wilton Pena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Al Lawss short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Buford Dykes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Buford Dykes made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Al Laws sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lester Ryder in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Buford Dykes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jean Turgeon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mary Lentz went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Al Laws recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Al Laws sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sandwith FC's Al Laws got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 38 played minutes Debert got a freekick which was hit by Mary Lentz. Al Lawss short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Buford Dykes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Lester Ryder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Buford Dykes having to interfere. 47 minutes into the game, Jerold Whitney was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Debert's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sandwith FC the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Debert's zone, Al Laws stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Buford Dykes came out of the goal and Al Laws tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wilton Pena was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rich Deleon in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Buford Dykes saved Debert from getting behind. Al Laws struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Buford Dykes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sandwith FC. Lester Ryder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Buford Dykes having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Al Laws in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Buford Dykes saved Debert from getting behind. Buford Dykes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Al Laws, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mary Lentz kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Lester Ryder scored 2-1 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Buford Dykes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 84 minutes into the game, Sandwith FC's Al Laws nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Buford Dykes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Sandwith FC's Lester Ryder got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Florentino Flint kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Shawn McCarthy's late challenge caught a Sandwith FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Shawn McCarthy helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd minute, Shawn McCarthy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Al Laws sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Sandwith FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Lester Ryder hit a great ball. Sandwith FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
