One of Barrhead:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pentypool FC:s goal. 1-1 came through a penalty shot after 36 played minutes, when Pentypool FC:s Harrison Morris calmly waited for Barrhead:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. 42 minutes into the match, Barrhead's goal looked a bit too open when Casey Davenport came free, but Nathaniel Norman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Casey Davenport made a kick off. After 54 played minutes Pentypool FC got a freekick which was hit by Wallace Gillespie. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pentypool FC's goalkeeper Augustin Shook, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nathaniel Norman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casey Davenport, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Barrhead's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
