Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lester Ryder kicked off to start the match. Casey Davenport fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean Turgeon having to interfere. In the 8th minute of the match, Lester Ryder tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Augustin Shook saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jean Turgeon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casey Davenport in the 16th minute of play. Al Laws sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes into the game, Bradford Rousseau was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pentypool FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sandwith FC the free kick. After 22 played minutes Pentypool FC got a freekick which was hit by Bradford Rousseau. Maurice Beasley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Jean Turgeon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Augustin Shook made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Al Laws sent off a good shot on target. Augustin Shook took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Al Laws, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Augustin Shook stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lester Ryder's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. If Al Laws had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augustin Shook took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lester Ryder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute, Miguel Young hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Sandwith FC's Lester Ryder slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Augustin Shook. That made the score 2-0 after 45 minutes of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Casey Davenport to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes, Sandwith FC's Daryl Robillard shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Augustin Shook came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sandwith FC reached it. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Lester Ryder sped through Pentypool FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Augustin Shook. 4-0 became the score in the 63rd minute when Al Laws elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Maurice Beasley struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Jean Turgeon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pentypool FC. The attack was good, but when Al Laws in the 74th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Sandwith FC's Jean Turgeon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Sandwith FC from getting a goal against them. If Casey Davenport had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Sandwith FC fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Sandwith FC's Al Laws looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Maurice Beasley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
