Jordan Corey had several of the Barrhead's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 7 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Nathaniel Norman as he didn't even see the shot coming. Matt Boivin in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nathaniel Norman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Jordan Corey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 18 minutes, Joesph Bruner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barrhead's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joesph Bruner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Leslie Lincoln came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Barrhead fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leslie Lincoln couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Jordan Corey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wetaskiwin FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jordan Corey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nathaniel Norman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joesph Bruner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leslie Lincoln in the 35th minute of play forced Wetaskiwin FC's goalkeeper Sebastian Walton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matt Boivin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sebastian Walton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joesph Bruner, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Collin Harden kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joesph Bruner made a kick off. Barrhead's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Roman Bartlett in the 54th minute. Joesph Bruner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Sebastian Walton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nathaniel Norman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jordan Corey in the 65th minute of the match. When Matt Boivin came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Wetaskiwin FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matt Boivin couldn't finish the play. In the 69th minute Joesph Bruner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Walton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barrhead's Leslie Lincoln managed to work through Wetaskiwin FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Leslie Lincoln dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Matt Boivin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jordan Corey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Nathaniel Norman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Matt Boivin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Barrhead booed when Wetaskiwin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gale Tinsley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leslie Lincoln could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Sebastian Walton made a huge save. A collision led to Barrhead getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Irving Woodruff hit a great ball. Wetaskiwin FC's Dalton Sullivan couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 91st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Barrhead. Matt Boivin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nathaniel Norman having to interfere.
