A very good chance. 26 minutes into the match, Kirriemuir's goalkeeper Roberto Murphy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leslie Lincoln. In the 46th match minute, Barrhead was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jayson Bermudez to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jimmy Thomas in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nathaniel Norman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Joesph Bruner made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Jimmy Thomas took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Nathaniel Norman to make any attempt to save it. 63 minutes into the match, Barrhead's goalkeeper Nathaniel Norman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dominick Shelton.
