Brent Querry came out of the goal and Arlie Chandonnet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brent Querry took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chauncey Vincent, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Lang's Isidro Elder got a free kick in the 14th minute. Chauncey Vincent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brent Querry having to interfere. Erin Babcock made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmond Rainey in the 27th minute. Darin Thompson hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 29 minutes into the match, Lang's goal looked a bit too open when Chauncey Vincent came free, but Brent Querry reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Robin Bédard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robin Bédard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Brent Querry tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
